What is an agent in Artzi?

An agent is a teammate you create in Artzi. You give it a name, a colour and a provider, and it keeps working on the same kind of task over time.

What an agent keeps

• Instructions. The profile you wrote for it, which it reads at the start of every conversation.
• Conversations and memory. Its chat history and the notes it has saved for later.
• Files. A workspace folder of its own, which it can read and edit within the permission you set.
• A provider and model. The AI service that runs its turns.

What an agent can do

An agent can read and change files in its workspace, run commands within its permission level, and use the apps you connect from the marketplace. It can also message other agents when a job needs them.

How many to create

Start with one. Create a second when a job needs a different focus, such as code review next to writing, or a different provider.
